Plant Exchange and Work Day
Help us improve a small area of landscaping near the Parish Office on Sunday, September 26th, at 1:30. Do you have some plants that could be divided or transplanted from your yard, or some other plants that you would like to contribute? Any plants that don’t work into our landscaping design for the parish office area will be up for exchange among everybody present. There will be Indiana Master Gardeners and Indiana Master Naturalists there to help us identify and learn more about gardening. In our area of landscaping, we will concentrate on providing habitat for God’s creatures, avoiding invasive species, and gardening in ways that promote good environmental stewardship. Join us on our work day to learn how you can do this in your own yard. Please bring work gloves, and a few of your favorite gardening tools to use. This will be a fun day for all ages and abilities, and is a great opportunity for those needing to earn service hours.
