CYO Science Fair

On Saturday, March 5th, 2011 eight teams attended the CYO science fair.  The students did a great job representing St. Jude.
The following students took part in the event:
    Nick Conner                          Cameron Papandria
Audrey Roland                     Joe Gervasio
Charlie Orman                     Alexander Pollard
Morgan Sells                        Mark Silver
Justin Brown                        Anna Marie Lawrie
Abby Povinelli
Audrey Roland and Justin Brown advanced to the second round and Justin advanced to the third round. He was interviewed by many judges and was so nervous. It was amazing to watch Justin take away from the CYO Science Fair OVERALL OUTSTANDING 7TH GRADE BIOLOGICAL PROJECT AWARD (1st place in his division!) He had the best project from all the science fairs that participated. What an outstanding achievement!
Justin now has the opportunity to participate in the state competition with his science fair project.
