The Ministry of Mothers Sharing, MOMS, invites all mothers: working moms, stay-at-home moms, grandmothers, and empty nesters to participate in an eight week spiritual journey. Groups meet once a week, create an awareness of the inner sacred self, teaching new ways to inspire, encourage, and affirm one another. Topics include self esteem, spirituality, feelings, friendship, and growth. Sessions begin January 11, 2011. Registration is currently in progress. COATS, PANTS AND JEANS FOR THE NEEDY!!
Now is the time to clean out your closets and donate gently used and clean coats, pants and jeans.
The adult items will be donated to the homeless with Beggars and the children’s items will be donated to St. Philip Neri School. Please give what you can at the buckets at the doors in church by October 31st. Thank you for your generosity!

Roncalli Placement Test
RONCALLI INVITES 8TH GRADERS TO PLACEMENT TEST
Roncalli High School invites all eighth grade students to take the High School Placement Test on Saturday, November 13, 2010. The test begins at 8 a.m. and will end at approximately 11:15 a.m. There is a $10 fee and may be paid in cash or by check payable to Roncalli High School, and students are asked to bring two #2 pencils. No preregistration is required. Students should arrive at 7:45 a.m. at the Auditorium entrance. There will also be a parent information meeting for parents of 8th graders from 10-11 a.m. in the Auditorium.

GIRL SCOUT BAKE SALE
Come and Visit the St. Jude 8th grade Girl Scouts this Saturday at Walmart
The St Jude 8th grade Girl Scouts will be hosting a bake sale at the Walmart on US 31 this Saturday.
Sales will begin at 9:30 am. All of the proceeds will go to the Julian Center for abused women and children.
If you are out shopping Saturday morning, please stop by and support troop 917.

Come spend part of your Saturday with the Roncalli Rebel players and coaches!! We will take this 90 minute session to work with each camper’s skills, and get him ready for another exciting basketball season! Please pre-register, as only those pre-registered will be guaranteed a T-shirt!

Trunk or Treat!
**Don't Forget about the Trunk-or-Treat and Halloween Dance this Friday, October 22. Trunk or Treat will be at St. Jude in the parking lot starting at 7:00. Parents may arrive anytime before that to decorate vehicles. An approximate number of children that will be participating will be e-mailed to you so you will know how much candy to have available. The Halloween Dance will follow the Trunk or Treat event. Cost for the dance is $5.00 per family plus a canned good. All money raised will go to Anna's House, The Dance will end at 10:00. Come dressed up in your favorite costumes - prizes will be awarded.
